SANDPIPER
Although Sandpiper is a little smaller than its sister “Skylark” it can still sleep up to 8 people plus it also has an additional double “room” in the form of the Bell Tent that sits right next door.
The pretty Bell Tent is included in the price with its lovely old double iron bed and is only available for guests of Sandpiper. This offers flexible sleeping and is popular when two families are sharing the tent.
The Outside kitchen/bar with its BBQ/griddle and Pizza Oven is a great spot to cook with friends all around enjoying the amazing sunsets.
New to 2025 is the Hot Tub just to add a little more luxury to your stay.
Sandpiper sleeps up to 8 people in three separate bed rooms:
· The Master main has a king-sized four-poster bed.
· The Cabin has a double bed and is accessed by a ladder.
· The Bunk room has two adult strong bunk beds sleeping up to 4.
· Travel cot available free of charge.
The site is in a secluded but not remote spot along a farm track. It is off grid, we use solar and 12v batteries to power lights in all the rooms, a USB port and the fridges. Outside lights are kept to a minimum to preserve the special “Dark Sky” all the better to enjoy stargazing. Please bring power banks or charge your devices in your car as a backup.
Candles are not allowed inside the tent due to fire risk, but can be used outside on the decking areas.
We use gas for the showers, fridges and kitchen hobs.
Bedroom
Our beds have very comfortable new mattresses, duvets and extra blankets and hot water bottles if required.
Beds are made up upon arrival with our luxurious stone-washed natural bed linen with its contemporary natural crumpled look. Its made from renewable flax & boasts anti-allergic properties.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, standard kitchen utensils and cooking pots & pans, kettle & coffee maker, fridge and a two ringed gas hob.
We supply coffee, tea, sugar and other basic condiments. Fresh milk can be found in the fridge.
Shower room
The shower room sits on the back deck with a hot shower, flushing toilet and towels provided for each person staying. Complimentary products from local business, Wideye who create their own natural skin and body care products. We support Wideye’s policy not to use single use plastics. Their products are supplied in refillable glass bottles which we refill from the Wideye shop in Rye.

Living space
The living area is large enough for all the family and friends with a large kitchen style table to seat 6-8. There is a large comfy sofa with more room to snuggle up by the wood burning stove with its own little oven perfect for warming up hot cross buns!
Outside space
We’ll provide you with an large basket of logs for the wood burning stove and wood for the fire pit. Additional seasoned wood for both can be purchased.
